Alan's Favorite Images

I am a Chemist by training, and I retired from Corporate America in 2001.

Since our earliest memories, my wife and I have always enjoyed being immersed in Nature, and so we now live full time in our motorhome doing what we enjoy most - observing wildlife, walking beaches, hiking meadows, watching sunsets, marvelling at nature's colors and moods.
To me, photography is merely another means to enjoy the outdoors, and it is not the end itself. It's just one more excuse to be outside and just one more reason to drag myself to some lonely spot as the light begins to lengthen. I'ts one of the few justifications for laying in the dirt, or hiking in the rain to observe something from a different perspective.

Nevertheless, I enjoy looking at the images that I take and I hope that maybe someone else who happens to stumble on to this website, will enjoy them also.

Although I have tried to label the photographs with accurate information, if you see errors, please let me know in the comments section of this website.

Unless I am out on an extended photographic trip, I will be updating this site with new photographs each month, so please come back again.
